Hi there!

Anyone have a clue why this happens?

Here's the console log: http://pastebin.com/qEWXzrJL

All files have been checked by the launcher and did not return any corruptions or mismatches.

iirc, that issue can be caused by some anti-virus applications.

p.s.: where's demynnfire?

Nah... those UI fastfiles are always unloaded before you join a game session, since they are no longer needed.

If the game crashes after "[NP] GetPublisherFileCB for GameRT.dat", that usually means that the "anti-virus" is preventing the game client from streaming/executing the external code.

EDIT: Now I noticed the pastebin title: "IW4Play crashes while loading maps"

The NP server can be blocked in different ways.

Be sure your router doesn't have any set rules to block any domains.

Programs can be a problem when running most IW4M clients. Check the status of your anti- virus. First, try disabling it...Then launch the game. If that does not work, allow all domain traffic to flow throw your network on your Windows machine. Also to the public firewall. (See images below).

Another common program that interferes with the NP server based server is Malwarebytes. Now, I'm not sure what the NP server address is and I don't have time to filter it out with Wireshark but here's an example of excluding it:

Hope this helps a little!

FYI: I highly doubt it's their domain server/web server address but here it is: 46.105.123.39
